CircuitDraft is an electrical print-drafting tool published by Tucaway Electric. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the app.
CircuitDraft has no account system, no sign-in, and no server of its own. Every print you create — walls, symbols, wires, circuits, title block details, and app settings — is saved using your device's browser storage (localStorage), directly on your phone or computer. That data:
When you export a print as a PDF, PNG, or SVG file, CircuitDraft generates that file on your own device and saves it directly to your device's downloads using your browser's normal download mechanism. The file is never uploaded to a server as part of that process.
To display and function, the app loads a small number of static, non-personalized files over the internet:
Loading any file over the internet necessarily involves your device's IP address and basic browser/request information being visible to the server hosting that file, the same as visiting any website. CircuitDraft does not send your project data, print contents, or any personal information to these services, and does not use them for tracking or advertising.
CircuitDraft does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking of any kind. There are no ads in the app, and no data about your usage is collected or sold.
CircuitDraft is a professional tool for electrical drafting and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of CircuitDraft adds an account system or cloud sync — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above, before that change ships.
